MongoDB gives us amazing data sharding possibilities.

This session will show how to launch a 22 location sharded cluster, with 3 replicas and a one mongo router per shard and location. This talk illustrates how we use anycast IPs and shard tags to ingest local data at scale, query it locally with extreme low latency and whilst still retaining all the cluster querying capabilities. This is all done without needing to change your application or it’s code.
