BuzzCrate - Kubernetes Bingo in a Box

How do cheap Kubernetes clusters – in a box (or two) – on your desk sound to you? Based on experiences implementing k8s in large enterprises, GitLab’s Jason Plum presented a bare metal concept putting k8s in the hands of developers, paving the way for adoption in the enterprise.

With the actual cluster in-hand, Jason will show attendees how to build them using cost-effective ARM single board computers for easily replicated lab environments. He will talk through how these development clusters allow organizations or individuals to scale up without the costs that accompany a data center or cloud provider. For companies with existing kubernetes infrastructure, BuzzCrate allows exploration of solutions to ensure strategies deployed elsewhere perform as expected.

Learn how a “home lab” produces an enterprise worthy turnkey proof of concept … that fits in a shoe box.
